There's a difference between development and fulfillment –
nobody can ever establish a meaningful relationship
with a truly significant other
until they have discovered self-knowledge,
or else they will forever be searching outside for what is inside!

The cosmic search for intelligent life
should begin with our own flora and fauna,
and should not extend to extraterrestrial biota
until we can reasonably communicate
and rationally exchange with each other!
Humankind will never understand alien species
before we know ourselves.

Intuition can be as powerful as an accident
and as startling as a coincidence.
Peak experiences will mean more if they're unsought.
Life will be more gratifying
if it's not invested with meaning before it's actually lived.
The obtrusion of creative spawns has a way
of revising objectives and reassessing potential options.
Maximizing the interior dynamic is only viable
if it eventually manifests itself extrinsically.
