We need alot more nobodies!
... more quiet people
who humbly perform their modest responsibilities,
and devotedly attend to their private affairs,
without reward or celebration, fanfare or recompense.
We've become a nation of synthetic symbols
and a culture of artificial icons,
bent on destroying authenticity,
on diminishing achievement, and
on devaluing authority and truth.
When everybody is somebody, then nobody is anybody,
so somebody is anybody, and everybody is nobody.
